ZAPATA, TEXAS---Maricela Valadez-Camarillo 56, passed away Wednesday, March 2, 2022 in San Antonio, Texas.

Maricela is preceded in death by her mother, Enedelia Gonzalez de Valadez.

Maricela is survived by her husband, Juan A. Camarillo; sons, Juan A. Camarillo Jr. (Laura Hernandez), Walo Camarillo (Evelyn Gonzalez), Noel Camarillo (Linette Paredes), Diego Camarillo, Freddy Camarillo; daughter, Joanna Camarillo; grandchildren, Laura Linette Camarillo, Juan Camarillo III, Jayleen Camarillo, Wally Camarillo Jr., Eme Camarillo, Emma Camarillo, Noel Camarillo Jr., Haylee Camarillo, Jazlynn Riojas, Kiana Camarillo, Catalina Camarillo; father, Jose C. Valadez and by numerous brothers and sisters and by other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Sunday, March 6, 2022, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a vigil at 7 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

The funeral procession will depart on Monday, March 7, 2022, at 9:30 a.m. for a 10 a.m. funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.
