ZAPATA, TEXAS---Maria N. Zapata 74, passed away on Tuesday, November 30, 2021 at her residence in Zapata, Texas.

Mrs. Zapata is survived by her husband, Juventino Zapata, Jr.; son, Juventino III (Marlen) Zapata; daughter, Tatiana (David M. Jr.) Moreno; grandchildren, Natalia Zapata, Eduardo Villarreal, III, Juventino Zapata IV, Emily Villarreal, Angelica Moreno, Kayla K. Presas, Jasmine E. Moreno and by numerous other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Wednesday, December 1, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a wake at 7:00 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

A chapel service will be held on Thursday, December 2, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.
