ZAPATA, TEXAS---Maria C. Treviño-Ramirez, passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2020 in Kingsville, Texas.

Mrs. Ramirez is preceded in death by her parents, Filiberto and Luisa Treviño, her husband Jose Hector Ramirez, her son, Homero Ramirez, her daughter, Rosa Valerio-Lopez, one sister, Adelina (Jose Refugio) Ramirez, and her six brothers, Teodoro (Petrita) Treviño, Anselmo (Consuelo) Treviño, Antonio (Evangelina) Treviño, Filiberto (Raquel) Treviño Jr.,  Leopoldo Treviño and Jose Manuel (Emilia) Treviño.

Mrs. Ramirez is survived by one sister, Luisa (†Amador) Lopez, and one sister in law, Emma Treviño; her grandchildren, David (Nadia) Ramirez, Michael Valerio, Amy Dominguez and her great grand-children, Adrian Naranjo, Alaina Naranjo, Rachel Valerio Thomas and Sarah Valerio Thomas and by numerous cousins, nephews, nieces and other family members.

Visitation hours will be held on Monday, January 20, 2020 from 8:30 am – 10:30 am at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

The funeral procession will depart on January 20, 2020 at 10:30 a.m. for a 11 a.m. funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.
