ZAPATA, TEXAS---Maria T. Ramirez 76, passed away on Thursday, March 4,     2021 in San Antonio, Texas.

Mrs. Ramirez is preceded in death by her husband, Adrian Ramirez III; parents, Juan and Paula Thatcher; brothers, Corando Thatcher and Oscar Thatcher.

Mrs. Ramirez is survived by her son, Adrian Ramirez IV (Sylvia Guerra Ramirez); daughters, Dora M. (Roberto) Valdez, Debra R. Sanchez; grandchildren, Adrian Ramirez V, Sinia Ramirez (Andres Quintero), Fernando Rivera, Bianca Valdez, Christian Valdez, Jessica (Remigio) Galvan, Rebecca (Estevan) Aguinaga, Jorge Garcia Jr.; great-grandchildren, David Rocha, Daniella Quintero, Amber Rivera, Natalia Rivera, Fernando M. Rivera Jr., Remigio Galvan Jr. , Jesus Javier Galvan, Andrea Renee Galvan; brothers, Juan (Peti) Thatcher, Derly Thatcher, Rudy (Elisa) Thatcher; sisters, Viola Thatcher, Yolanda Thatcher; sister-in-law, Gloria M. Thatcher and by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Wednesday,  March 10, 2021 from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. with a rosary at 2:00 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

A graveside service will follow at 3:30 pm at Zapata County Cemetery.
