ZAPATA, TEXAS---Maria Eliboria Peña de Molina 98, passed away on Monday, September 20, 2021 at her residence in Zapata, Texas.

Mrs. Molina is preceded in death by husband, Ovidio Molina and parents, Abraham and Nasaria Peña.

Mrs. Molina is survived by her son, †Juan Ovidio (Araceli) Molina; daughter, Leticia (Rene) Mercardo; grandchildren, Juan G. (Susana) Molina, Venancio (Thelma) Molina, Jessica (Ricardo) Aguilar, Pedro (Amanda) Aleman, Gerardo (Mary Lou) Aleman, Frank (Iliana) Aleman, Jesus (Yvonne) Rodriguez, Arturo Mercado; twenty-five grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and by numerous other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Friday, September 24, 2021, at 8:30 a.m. with a rosary at 9:00 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

The funeral procession will depart at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.
