ZAPATA, TEXAS---Maria Guadalupe B. Villarreal 84, passed away on Monday, March 19, 2018 in Zapata, Texas.

Ms. Villarreal is preceded in death by her husband, Teodulo Villarreal; son, Ismael Villarreal; parents, Manuel and Maria Guadalupe Buentello; brothers, Manuel Jr. (Juanita) Buentello, Antonio (Alicia) Buentello, Faustino (Lamar) Buentello, Raul Buentello; sisters, Maria Luisa (Sylvestre) Bustamante, Enriqueta (Antonio) De Los Santos, Serafina Buentello and Antonia B. Gonzalez.

Ms. Villarreal is survived by her son, Jose Rafael (Rosa Nelia) Villarreal; daughter, Soledad V. (Amaro) Bustamante, Lourdes Villarreal; two great-grandsons, Agapito Cabrialez, II and Christopher D. Cabrialez, Jr. and by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; brothers, Martin (Carmen) Buentello, Matias M. (Rosa) Buentello; sisters, Beatriz (Alonzo) Juarez; brother-in-law, Ramon R. Gonzalez and by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Visitation hours were held on Thursday, March 22, 2018, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a vigil at 7 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

The funeral procession departed on Friday, March 23, 2018, at 9:30 a.m. for a 10 a.m. funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Committal services followed at Zapata County Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Rose Garden Funeral Home Daniel A. Gonzalez, Funeral Director, 2102 N. US HWY 83 Zapata, Texas.
