ZAPATA, TEXAS---Maria Amparo Garza 76, passed away on Friday, May 7, 2021 at Las Alturas Nursing Home in Laredo, Texas.

Mrs. Garza is preceded in death by her grandson, Jose Miguel Garza.

Mrs. Garza is survived by her husband, Domingo Garza; daughters, Melissa Gamez, Marta Garza, Rosalinda Martinez; son, Samuel Martinez; twelve grandchildren, twenty great-grandchildren and by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Wednesday, May 12, 2021, at 8:00 a.m. with a chapel service at 9:00 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.
