ZAPATA, TEXAS---Marcelina Mendoza 75, passed away on Sunday, February 25, 2018 at her residence in Zapata, Texas.

Ms. Mendoza is preceded in death by her husband, Felipe Zapata Delgado; sisters, Julia Mendoza, Maria de Jesus Mendoza and Manuela Mendoza.

Ms. Mendoza is survived by her sons, Pablo Zapata y familia, Roberto Zapata y familia; daughters, Belen Ibarra y familia, Maria Del Socorro Zapata y familia, Irene Zapata y familia, Veronica Zapata y familia, Esmeralda Zapata y familia, San Juana Zapata y familia, Claudia Zapata y familia; brother, Pedro Mendoza and by numerous nephews, nieces, other family members and friends.

Visitation hours were held on Monday, February 26, 2018, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a wake at 7 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

On Tuesday, February 27, 2018, we opened at 8 a.m. and the funeral departed at 9:00 a.m. for a graveside service at 1:30 p.m. in Panteon Municipal in Nueva Ciudad Guerrero, Tamaulipas.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Rose Garden Funeral Home Daniel A. Gonzalez, Funeral Director, 2102 N. US HWY 83 Zapata, Texas.
