ZAPATA, TEXAS---Manuel Villarreal 84, passed away on Saturday, January 23, 2021 at his residence in Brownsville, Texas.

Mr. Villarreal is preceded in death by his parents, Pablo and Lorenza Villarreal; in-laws, Matias and Manuela Montes de Moreno.

Mr. Villarreal is survived by his wife, Margarita Villarreal; sons, Manuel Villarreal and Matias Villarreal and by numerous brothers, sisters, nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Monday, January 25, 2021, at 6:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

On Tuesday, January 26, 2021 a chapel service will be held at 10:00 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.
