ZAPATA, TEXAS---Magdalena "Elena" Longoria 96, passed away on Monday, July 19, 2021 at her residence in Zapata, Texas.

Mrs. Longoria is preceded in death by her husband, Porfirio Longoria; grandson, Orlando "OJ" Longoria; parents, Ramon and Maria Rocha; brothers, Salvador (Luzdivina) Rocha, Ramon Jr. (Juana) Rocha, Narciso (Andrea) Rocha; sisters, Isabel R. (Tomas) Guerrero and Beatriz (Moises) Garcia.

Mrs. Longoria is survived by her sons, Manuel (†Rosa) Longoria, Rolando (Gloria) Longoria, Juan J. Longoria, Jesus Ramon Longoria; daughters, Sylvia (Joe) Aguilar, Rosa (†Humberto) Bautista, Maria Elena Ingram, Criselda L. Garza; seventeen grandchildren; thirty-two great-grandchildren; six great-great-grandchildren and by numerous nephews, nieces and her family members and friends.

Pallbearers will be Samuel Bustamante, Manuel Longoria, Jr., Lee Roy Longoria, Gabriel A. Barrera, Carlos J. Barrera, Oscar Maikol Zepeda, and Olivero Rocha.

Visitation hours will be held on Friday, July 23, 2021, at 8:00 a.m. with a chapel service at 10:00 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.
