ZAPATA, TEXAS---Lynn D. Smith 56, passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2021 at Laredo Medical Center in Laredo, Texas.

Mr. Smith is preceded in death by his father, Dean L. Smith and mother, Cyria O. (Ray) Converse.

Mr. Smith is survived by his wife, Dora Alicia Smith; daughter, Doralene Smith (Delfino Casso); sons, Thomas Smith, David (Dawn) Moncivais; grandchildren, Luis Arambula, David Moncivais, Jr., Elizabeth Moncivais, Evelyn Moncivais, Daisy Lynn Casso; sisters, Georgina Armstrong and Patricia (Ray Navarro) Armstrong and by numerous other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Tuesday, February 23, 2021, from 8:30 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with a rosary at 9:30 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

Mr. Smith was a member of Zapata High School Class of 1982.

In lieu of flowers monetary donations can be made at Rose Garden Funeral Home.
