ZAPATA, TEXAS— Lupita Copado Garza 92, passed away on Friday, July 4, 2025, at Falcon Lake Nursing Home in Zapata, Texas.

Ms. Garza is preceded in death by her parents Manuel and Andrea Copado; sisters, Maria Del Refugio (Basilio) Vidaurri, Carmen (Lidio) Solis, Emma Judkins, Rosario (Mario) Garza, Ramona (Juan) Ramon; brothers, Hector (Carolina) Copado, Oscar Luis Copado and Luciano Copado.

Ms. Garza is survived by her daughters, Cynthia (Eloy) Gutierrez, Alicia (Juan Ned) Garza; grandsons, Carlos X. Garza, David M. Garza; granddaughters, Cynthia G. Gutierrez, Andrea A. Gutierrez and numerous other family members and friends.

We will open at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, and depart at 10:30 a.m. for a funeral mass at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Refuge, San Ygnacio, Texas.

Committal services will follow at Uribe Cemetery.
