ZAPATA, TEXAS---Luis R. Flores 77, passed away on Friday, August 4, 2023 at his residence in Zapata, Texas.

Mr. Flores is preceded in death by his grandsons, Thomas Rodriguez, Bobby Rodriguez; parents, Luciano and Dora Flores; brothers, Juan Flores, Willie Flores, Ovidio Flores; sisters, Diamantina Gutierrez and Maria O. Flores.

Mr. Flores is survived by his wife, Olivia P. Flores; sons, Rey Flores, Rudy (Katherine) Flores; daughters, Sylvia Flores (Jose Garcia), Esmeralda Rodriguez (Alvaro); grandchildren, Mary Lou Rodriguez, Monique Gonzales, Tony Flores, Noemi Rodriguez, Freddy Gonzales, Sunny Rodriguez, Christine Flores, Yvette Jimenez, Racheal Jimenez, Leah Flores; numerous, great-grandchildren; sister, San Juana Flores and by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Tuesday, August 8, 2023, at 1:30 p.m. with a chapel service at 3:30 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.
