ZAPATA, TEXAS---Lilia V. Mendoza "La Guera" 79, passed away on Thursday, November 21, 2019 in San Antonio, Texas.

Mrs. Mendoza is preceded in death by her parents, Olegario and Maria Del Refugio Villarreal and brothers, Ruben Villarreal and Olegario M. "Blacky" Villarreal.

Mrs. Mendoza is survived by her husband, Antonio A. Mendoza; sons, Tony (Elvia) Mendoza, Luis (Maria) Mendoza, Daniel (Monica) Mendoza; grandchildren, Arturo Mendoza, Raquel C. Mendoza, Tony Mendoza, Jr., Luis A. Mendoza, Natalie R. Mendoza, J.C. Gutierrez, III, Rebecca M. Mendoza, Daniel A. Mendoza; sisters, Amanda (†Rene) Garza, Raquel (†Francisco) Rodriguez; sister-in-law, Leticia Villarreal and by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Sunday, November 24, 2019, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a vigil at 7:00 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

The funeral procession will depart on Monday, November 25, 2019 at 9:45 a.m. for a 10 a.m. funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.
