ZAPATA TEXAS—Leticia Sanchez passed away on Tuesday, June 23, 2026 at Doctors Hospital at Renaissance in Edinburg Texas.

Mrs. Sanchez is preceded in death by her granddaughter, Mizel Anahi Navarro; father, Ruben Zumaya; mother, Sara Ludivina Martinez; Brother, Jesus Flores.

Mrs. Sanchez is survived by her sons, Carlos J. Sanchez, Jesse Sanchez, Victor A. Sanchez; daughters, Claudia (Ernesto) Garcia, Gabriela Sanchez (Carlos Gonzalez), Laura Sanchez (Jose Luis Lopez) Carla Sanchez; Sister Maria Del Socorro Saenz and by numerous grandchildren, great- grandchildren, nephews, nieces and many friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Friday, June 26, 2026, at 9:30 a.m. with a chapel service at 11:00 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.
