ZAPATA, TEXAS – Leopoldo Denis Villarreal 74, passed away on Saturday, December 6, 2025, at his residence in Zapata Texas.

Mr. Villarreal is preceded in death by his parents, Leopoldo and Rosenda Villarreal and Aunt, Clara Villarreal Garza.

Mr. Villarreal is survived by his wife, Casimira L. Villarreal; daughters, Rosa Maria Villarreal, Rosa Clara Villarreal, Herminia Santiago; grandchildren, Levi Forrest, Chloe Forrest, Diego Hernandez, Lorena Hernandez, Elsa Soto, Gabriela Niño and by numerous family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Thursday, December 11, 2025, at 8:30 a.m. with a chapel service at 11:00a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

On Friday, December 12, 2025, a graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. at Zapata County Cemetery.
