ZAPATA, TEXAS---Leonila Chapa-Garza 87, passed away on Wednesday, August 11, 2021 at McAllen Medical Center in McAllen, Texas.

Mrs. Chapa-Garza is preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Chapa Garza; daughter, Adelia Chapa; brothers, Arnulfo Chapa, Antonio Chapa and sisters, Manuela Chapa and Idolina Chapa.

Mrs. Chapa-Garza is survived by her sons, Jose (Paula) Chapa, Esteban (Laura Leticia) Chapa, Daniel Jr. (Lydia) Chapa, Francisco Javier (Sandra) Chapa; daughter, Enedelia (Primitivo) Garza, Amalia (Sergio) Chapa, Sylvia (Jesus) Gutierrez, Laura (Salvador) Benavides and by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Sunday, August 15, 2021, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

Burial will be held in Panteon Del Pueblo in Rancho Nuevo, Mexico.
