ZAPATA, TEXAS---Leobardo Ramirez-Hernandez 47, passed away on Monday, October 2, 2023 at his residence in Edinburg, Texas.

Mr. Ramirez Hernandez is preceded in death by his father, Jose Carmen Ramirez Guerrero and a brother, Santos Ramirez.

Mr. Ramirez Hernandez is survived by his wife, Miriam Sosa; sons, Ernesto Gonzalez Jr., Eduardo Gonzalez, Ivan Ramirez, Alfredo Ramirez; daughters, Rosalva Ramirez, Jaqueline Ramirez, Rosalinda Ramirez, Nayeli Ramirez, Norma Gonzalez; numerous grandchildren; mother, Juana Hernandez; brothers, Epifanio Ramirez, Jose Ramirez, Angel Ramirez, Carmelo Ramirez, Victoriano Ramirez, Guillermo Ramirez, Arnulfo Ramirez; sisters, Petra Ramirez, Juana Ramirez, Pastora Ramirez, Lorenza Ramirez, Paula Ramirez and by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Sunday, October 8, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a vigil at 7:00 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

On Monday, October 9, 2023 we will open at 10:00 a.m. and the funeral procession will depart at 1:30 p.m. for a 2:00 p.m. funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Committal services will follow at Zapata Co. Cemetery.
