ZAPATA, TEXAS- Julia P. Sanchez 89, passed away on Monday, February 2, 2026 at her residence in Zapata Texas.

Mrs. Sanchez, is preceded in death by her husband, Oscar Sanchez; son, Oscar Sanchez Jr.; daughter, Paula (Juan B.) Garcia.

Mrs. Sanchez is survived by her sons, Romeo Sanchez, Calixto Sanchez; daughters, Silvia (Rodolfo) Molina, Noelia (Luis) Arambula, Aida Guzman and by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and other family members.

Visitation hours will be held on Saturday, February 7, 2026, at 8:30 a.m. with a rosary at 9:30 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

The funeral procession will depart at 10:30 a.m. for a 11:00 a.m. funeral mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.
