SAN YGNACIO, TEXAS---Juana B. Garcia 97, passed away on Friday, March 29, 2024 at Laredo Medical Center in Laredo, Texas.

Mrs. Garcia is preceded in death by her husband, Guadalupe Garcia; son, Javier Ramon Garcia; grandchildren, Javier Fasci, Severo Villarreal III, Guadalupe Garcia III; great-grandchildren, Baby Angel, Baby Guadalupe and Ivan; parents, Manuel and Margarita Benavides and daughter in-law, Oralia Garcia.

Mrs. Garcia is survived by her sons, Guadalupe Garcia Jr., Manuel E. (Martha) Garcia; daughters, San Juanita (Oscar) Torres, Margarita (Severo Jr.) Villarreal, Carmen (Jerry) Fasci, Maria (Lorenzo) Guerra and by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Visitation hours were held on Saturday, April 6, 2024, at 9:00 a.m. with a rosary at 11:00 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

The funeral procession departed at 1:30 p.m. for a 2:00 p.m. funeral Mass at Our Lady of Refuge Catholic Church in San Ygnacio, Texas.

Committal services followed at Panteon del Pueblo in San Ygnacio, Texas.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Rose Garden Funeral Home Daniel A. Gonzalez, Funeral Director, 2102 N. US HWY 83 Zapata, Texas.
