ZAPATA, TEXAS---- Juana "Juanita" Figueroa 105, passed away on Tuesday August 6, 2024, at her residence in Zapata, Texas.

Ms. Figueroa is preceded in death by her parents, Vicente and Ramona Figueroa; brothers, Daniel Figueroa, Raul Figueroa, Beto Figueroa; cousins, Bartolome Rodriguez, Calixto Rodriguez.

Ms. Figueroa is survived by her cousins, Rene Rodriguez, Beatriz (†Rurico) Gutierrez, Derly (†Olga) Rodriguez, Basilia Rodriguez and by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

The family would like to thank Altus Hospice, Friendly Care, Champion Care Home Health and nurse Violeta Martinez.

Visitation hours were held on Saturday August 10, 2024 at 9:00 a.m. with a rosary at 10:00 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home. The funeral procession departed at 11:00 a.m. for a 11:30 a.m. mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Church.

Committal services followed at Zapata County Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Rose Garden Funeral Home Daniel A. Gonzalez, Funeral Director, 2102 N. US HWY 83 Zapata, Texas.
