ZAPATA, TEXAS---Juan Medina 69, passed away on Sunday, April 7, 2019 in Roma, Texas.

Mr. Medina is preceded in death by his son, Renato Medina; daughter, Andrea Medina and parents, Renato and Maria Del Socorro Medina.

Mr. Medina is survived by his wife, Ernestina Garza Muñoz; daughters, Maria Guadalupe Medina, Maria del Carmen (Oscar) Gonzalez, Ernestina (Eduardo) Alanis; grandchildren, Alfredo Lopez, Andrea Lopez, Johana Navarro, Sofia Del Carmen Gonzalez, Adamari Alanis, Eduardo Alanis, Aaron Alanis, Adan Alanis; brother, †Roberto (Araceli) Medina; sisters, Lourdes Medina, Amelia (Gilberto) Villarreal, Maricela (†Fabian) Montemayor and by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Tuesday, April 9, 2019, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a vigil at 7 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

A chapel service will be held on Wednesday, April 10, 2019 at 10 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.
