ZAPATA, TEXAS---Juan Martin Gomez 64, passed away on Thursday, January 21, 2021 at Laredo Specialty Hospital in Laredo, Texas.

Mr. Gomez is preceded in death by his parents, Pascual Gomez and Anita Cuellar and by a brother, Pedro Treviño.

Mr. Gomez is survived by his wife of 48 years Sylvia Gomez; sons, Juan Martin Jr. (April) Gomez, Orlando Gomez; daughter, Rebecca (Ivan) Pichardo; grandchildren, Roger Rene (Lizette) Arriaga, Jr., Selena Y. Arriaga (Jerry Boatright), Sandra Lorayne Arriaga (Jose L. Gonzalez), Juan Martin Gomez, III (Karen Castro), Yvonne Leanne Gomez, Reynaldo Isaac Gomez, Marshall E. Gomez, Crystal I. Negrete, Orlando Gomez, Jr., Karla Andrea Gomez; great-grandchildren, Roger Roy Arriaga, Edward Rene Arriaga, Kaylee Marie Cruz, Thomas Jay Boatright, Sofia Castro; brothers, Jesus Trevino, Mario Trevino, Manuel Trevino, Gabriel Trevino, Marcos Cuellar, Jr.; sister, Maria Josefa Trevino and by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, January 30, 2021, at 9:00 a.m. with a chapel service at 10:30 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.
