ZAPATA, TEXAS---Juan Esquivel Chapa 86, passed away on Thursday, August 17, 2023 in Zapata, Texas.

Mr. Esquivel Chapa is preceded in death by his wife, Juanita Valadez de Esquivel and a grandchild, Eduardo Lopez.

Mr. Esquivel Chapa is survived by his sons, Juan Luis Esquivel (Daisy Herrera), Aldo Esquivel, Jose Esquivel; daughters, Elda Alaniz, Maria (Jose) Juarez, Iliana (Hector) Alaniz and by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, brothers, sisters and other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, from 1:00 p.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

On Thursday, August 24, 2023 family will have a viewing in Nva. Cd. Guerrero, Tamps.

Committal services will follow at Panteon Municipal.
