ZAPATA, TEXAS---Jose Niño-Lara 58, passed away on Wednesday, February 17, 2020 at his residence in Zapata, Texas.

Mr. Niño-Lara is preceded in death by his brother, Francisco Niño-Lara.

Mr. Niño-Lara is survived by his wife, Maria Reyes; sons, Jose Luis Niño (Eva Gonzalez), Juan Manuel Niño (Laura Lopez), Jesus Adrian Niño; daughters, Estela Niño (Rodolfo Aguilar), Leonor (Jaime) Guardian, Maria Niño (Alex Buruato); grandchildren, Johan Niño, Karime Niño, Kenya Niño, Jason Niño, Jonathan Niño, Keyra Niño, Jeter Niño, Jose Luis Niño, Jr., Sara Niño, Juan E. Niño, Cesar Flores, Jr., Arely Flores, Rodolfo Aguilar, Jr., Rodrigo Aguilar, Isabela Buruato, Axel Buruato; parents, Simon and Maria Niño; brothers, Guadalupe (Rosa) Niño, Jesus (†Alicia) Niño, Juan Niño, Gerardo (Sylvia) Niño, David Niño (Jisela Ruiz), Miguel Niño (Janet Perez); sisters, Raquel (Fernando) Cleto, Yolanda Niño (Armando) Rodriguez, Irene Niño (Manuel Zapata), Blanca Niño and by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Wednesday, February 24, 2020, from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. with a rosary at 10:00 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

A graveside service will follow at 11:30 a.m. at Zapata County Cemetery.
