ZAPATA, TEXAS---Jose E. "Kike" Ramirez 60, passed away on Friday, December 8, 2023 at University Hospital in San Antonio, Texas.

Mr. Ramirez is preceded in death by his father, Jose Hector Ramirez.

Mr. Ramirez is survived by his wife of 31 years, Rosa E. Ramirez; sons, Jose E. Ramirez Jr., Ricky A. Ramirez; daughters, Kelly Sue (Raul) Muñoz, Cristina R. Ramirez; grandchildren, Erik N. Macias, Derik Macias, Sammy Lee Macias, Shannon L. Macias, Raul Muñoz Jr.; mother, Raquel H. Ramirez; brothers, Jose Hector Jr. (Socorro) Ramirez, Jaime A. (Maria) Ramirez; sisters, Laura R. (Santiago) Almaraz, Lilia Elza Ramirez Gomez-Luna and by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a vigil at 7:00 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

On Thursday, December 14, 2023 we will meet at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church for a 10:00 a.m. mass.

Committal services will follow at Ramireño Cemetery.
