ZAPATA, TEXAS---Jose Enrique Estrella 79, passed away on Monday, June 20, 2022 at Doctor's Hospital in Laredo, Texas.

Mr. Estrella is preceded in death by his parents, Baltazar Estrella and Emma T. Estrella and a brother, Baltazar Estrella.

Mr. Estrella is survived by his wife, Rosa N. Estrella; son, Jose E. (Grisel) Estrella; daughters, Elizabeth (Armando) Ortiz, Edna (Roque A.) Rodriguez; grandchildren, Kaitlynn S. Ortiz, Roque O. Rodriguez, Carolina Estrella, Marcus I. Ortiz, Javier A. Rodriguez, Natalia Estrella; brothers, Nazario (Gloria) Estrella, Eliodoro (Ma. De Jesus) Estrella; sisters, Josefina (†Servando) Reyna, Hermelinda (Ignacio) Esquivel, Sara Gloria Estrella, Maria De Los Angeles (†Alejandro) Lemos; sister-in-law, Maria Estrella and by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Wednesday, June 22, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

On Thursday, June 23, 2022 we will open at 8:00 a.m. and the funeral procession will depart at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.
