ZAPATA, TEXAS---Jose Angel Garcia, passed away on Tuesday, December 20, 2022 at Rio Grande Regional Hospital, in McAllen Texas.

Mr. Garcia is preceded in death by his father, Reyes Garcia and step-father, Juan Araiza.

Mr. Garcia. is survived by his mother, Evangelina Araiza, brother, Reyes Jr. (Zenaida) Garcia; sisters, Nereida Garcia, Marta (Carlos) Rodriguez, Glendelia (Trenton) Cantrell, Diana (Benjamin) Mendoza and by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Thursday, December 22, 2022 at 8:30 a.m. with a chapel service at 10:00 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Rose Garden Funeral Home Daniel A. Gonzalez, Funeral Director, 2102 N. US HWY 83 Zapata, Texas.
