ZAPATA, TEXAS---Jose Angel "Changel" Flores 82, passed away on Tuesday, September 6, 2022 at Doctor's Hospital in Laredo, Texas.

Mr. Flores is preceded in death by his first wife, Elizabeth S. Flores; second wife, Teodora Flores; son, Juan Angel Flores; brothers, Jesus Flores, Ignacio Flores, Isidro Flores and sisters, Angelica Martinez and Rafaela Salinas.

Mr. Flores is survived by his son, Eduardo (Thelma) Flores; daughters, Nelda M. Flores, Laura (Felipe) Rodriguez, Marisa (Ely) Gutierrez; grandchildren, Abigail N. Flores, Felipe J. Rodriguez, Australia Rodriguez, Ethan E. Gutierrez, Alejandra Flores, Andrea Flores, Cesar Flores, Carolina Flores, Samuel Flores, Antonio Flores; great-grandchildren, Alya Marie Cardenas; sister, Aida Lopez and by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Friday, September 9, 2022, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

On Saturday, September 10, 2022 we will open at 8:00 a.m. and the funeral procession will depart at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. funeral Mass at Saint Peter Catholic Church in Lopeño, TX.

Committal services will follow at Lopeño Cemetery.
