ZAPATA, TEXAS—Jorge L. Prezaz "El Grillo", 70, passed away on, April 26, 2025, in Laredo, Texas.

Mr. Prezaz is preceded in death by his parents Leonel and Armandina Prezaz; brothers, William Prezaz, Omar Prezaz and Sister Nora Prezaz.

Mr. Prezaz is survived by his wife, Sylvia Guzman; son, Jorge L. Prezaz Jr., Johnny E. Prezaz; daughter, Sylvia A. (Luis) Chavez, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; brother, Bobby Lopez; sisters, Cora (Larry) Hargrave, Dora Maricle and by numerous other family members and friends.

A chapel service will be held on Thursday, May 1, 2025. We will open at 8:30 a.m. with a chapel service at 10:00 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.
