ZAPATA, TEXAS---Jorge Gonzalez 82, passed away on Sunday, August 23, 2020 at Laredo Medical Center in Laredo, Texas.

Mr. Gonzalez is preceded in death by granddaughter, Angeles Guadalupe Gonzalez; grandson, Cesar Alvarez; parents, Melquiades and Antonia Gonzalez; brothers, Melquiades (Francisca) Gonzalez, Juan Jose (Estela) Gonzalez; sisters, Zulema (Felix) Carreon, Cora (Mario) De Los Santos and Cristina (Santiago) Torres.

Mr. Gonzalez is survived by his wife, Elda L. Gonzalez; sons, Jorge Jr. (Idolina) Gonzalez, Ariel (Olga P.) Gonzalez; daughter, Isela (Stacy W.) Lindquist; grandchildren, Monica Gonzalez, Isabella Vasquez, Ariel Gonzalez, Jr., Jorge Antonio Gonzalez, Stacy Lynn, William Lindquist; brother, Heberto (Maria A.) Gonzalez; sister, Ofilia (†Manuel) Santiago and by numerous other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Wednesday, August 26, 2020, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.
