ZAPATA, TEXAS---John J. Raymond 51, passed away on Monday, February 1, 2021 at Laredo Medical Center in Laredo, Texas.

Mr. Raymond is preceded in death by his father, Mathew G. Raymond; maternal grandmother, Idalia Dean and a brother, Bruce R. Raymond.

Mr. Raymond is survived by his son, John M. Raymond and mother, Angelica V. Jackson; mother, Maria T. Glenn; uncles and aunts, Norma G. Jean, Luis A. Venegas, Claudia R. Marshall and by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

John was a Zapata High School graduate Class of 1988 he worked as a nurse in Zapata County for over 25 years.

Visitation hours will be held on Saturday, February 6, 2021, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.
