ZAPATA, TEXAS---Javier Rodriguez 49, passed away on Thursday, February 23, 2023 at Laredo Medical Center in Laredo, Texas.

Javier is preceded in death by his father, Pablo Rodriguez.

Javier is survived by his mother, Maria Luisa Ochoa; brothers, Pablo (Lorena) Rodriguez Sr., Jose L. Rodriguez; sisters, Griselda Rodriguez, Jessica R. (†Javier "Chito") De Los Santos and by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Tuesday, February 28, 2023, at 1:30 p.m. with a rosary at 2:30 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

The funeral procession will depart at 3:00 p.m. for a 3:30 p.m. for a funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.
