ZAPATA, TEXAS---Javier Juan Martinez 23, passed away on Sunday, April 15, 2018 in Houston, Texas.

Javier is preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Jose Martinez Gutierrez and Adelina Pena Flores; maternal grandparents, Abdon González Cavazos, and Olivia Arredondo Veles.

Javier is survived by his parents, Javier Juan Martinez Peña and Martha Alicia Gonzalez Arredondo; sister, Myrna Alejandra Martinez González; and by numerous nephews, nieces, other family members and many friends.

Visitation hours were held on Saturday, April 28, 2018, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. with a rosary at 7 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

On Sunday, April 29, 2018 visitation hours were held at Capilla  Del Pueblo, Nva. Cd. Guerrero, Tamps., from 10:30 am to 9:00 pm.

Committal services followed at Panteon Municipal Nva. Cd. Guerrero, Tamps.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Rose Garden Funeral Home Daniel A. Gonzalez, Funeral Director, 2102 N. US HWY 83 Zapata, Texas.
