SAN YGNACIO, TEXAS---Javier "Mon" Garcia, 55 passed away on Saturday, October 28, 2023 at Laredo Medical Center in Laredo, Texas.

Mr. Garcia is preceded in death by his father, Jose Guadalupe Garcia.

Mr. Garcia is survived by his sons, Javier R. (Michelle) Garcia Jr., Rene M. Garcia (Kathia Barrera), Roberto J. Garcia; daughters, Roxanne Garcia, Rebecca Jo Garcia, Karina L. Garcia, Alyssa Lopez (Rey Ramirez); grandchildren, Jaylynn R. Garcia, Lucia Maite Garcia, Alexandra J. Garcia, Aviana Jo Garcia, Kiah Herrera, Kyra Herrera, Cristiano Aguilar, Brycen Garcia, Gabriela Ramirez, R.J. Ramirez; mother, Juana B. Garcia; brothers, Jose Guadalupe (†Oralia) Garcia, Manuel (Martha) Garcia, sisters, Sanjuanita (Oscar) Torres, Carmen (Jerry) Fasci, Margarita (Severo Jr.) Villarreal, Maria de Jesus  (Lorenzo) Guerra; partner, Martha Sanchez, and by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Thursday, November 2, 2023 from 8:30 a.m. to 10:00 a.m. with a rosary at 9:30 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

The funeral procession will depart at 10:00 for a 10:30 am funeral mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Zapata TX.

Committal services will follow at Panteon Del Pueblo in San Ygnacio, TX.
