ZAPATA, TEXAS---Jaime Peña Jr. 40, passed away on Wednesday, September 9, 2020 at Corpus Christi Medical Center Bay Area, Corpus Christi,Texas.
Mr. Peña is preceded in death by his mother, Maria Teresa Peña; paternal grandparents, Emilio and Flora Peña and maternal grandfather, Ruben Garcia.
Mr. Peña is survived by his father, Jaime Peña; brother, Jorge Peña; sisters, Cristina Peña (Marcos Mercado) and Adamina (Gerardo) Zepeda; nephews and nieces, Divette Ramirez, Damian Ramirez, Mindy Zepeda, Gerardo Zepeda Jr., Jorge J. Garza, Maylin Garza; and numerous uncles, aunts, cousins other family members and friends.

As per immediate family request, there will be no indoor visitation service. Family and friends are welcome to follow the funeral procession leaving on Monday, September 14, 2020 at 10:00 am from the funeral home to Zapata County Cemetery for a graveside service at 10:30 am.

Due to father, Jaime Peña Sr. currently undergoing cancer treatments, son and daughters are respectfully asking family and friends to please remain in your vehicles both at the funeral home and during graveside service.
