ZAPATA, TEXAS---Isabel B. "Chavelita" Guajardo 88, passed away on Tuesday, July 27, 2021 at Laredo Specialty Hospital in Laredo, Texas.

Mrs. Guajardo is preceded in death by her husband, Ramiro Guajardo; parents, Roberto and Isabel Bustamante; brothers, Rodolfo (Criselia) Bustamante, Alonzo Bustamante, Roberto Bustamante; sisters, Maria Salome (Juan) Vela; Benilde (Fernando) Rivera and Elvia (Jose) Valadez.

Mrs. Guajardo is survived by her son, Ramiro A. Guajardo (Yazmin Cantu); daughters, Maribel Guajardo (Reyes Jose Ramos), Dinora Monsivais; grandchildren, Horacio Monsivais, Jr., Luis G. Monsivais (Esmeralda Rodriguez), Dinora Guadalupe Monsivais (Rigoberto Ramirez), Laura C. Ramos; great-granddaughter, Allison Nicole Ramirez; brother, Adolio (Elvira) Bustamante; sisters-in-law, Yolanda Bustamante and Barbara Bustamante and by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

A mass will be held on Saturday, July 31, 2021, at 8:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Rose Garden Funeral Home Daniel A. Gonzalez, Funeral Director, 2102 N. US HWY 83 Zapata, Texas.
