ZAPATA, TEXAS---Hilario Vallejo, Jr. 78, passed away on Wednesday, November 27, 2019 in Laredo, Texas.

Mr. Vallejo is preceded in death by his wife, Adela Jasso-Vallejo; great-grandson, Javier Jesus Muñoz; parents, Hilario and Santos Vallejo; brothers, Reynaldo Vallejo and Valentin Vallejo.

Mr. Vallejo is survived by his sons, Jose (Myrna) Vallejo, Elpidio Vallejo, Hilario III (Diana) Vallejo, Mauro (Esperanza) Vallejo, Apolonio (Ana) Vallejo; daughters, Teresa (Homero) Alaniz and Graciela (Ricardo, Jr.) Gracia; thirteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brothers, Margarito (†Juana) Vallejo, Jose P. (Glafira) Vallejo, Arnulfo (Janie) Vallejo; sisters, Arsilia (Joaquin) Ruiz, Angelina Vallejo, Marilu (Francisco) Guzman, Isabel (Rafael) Soto; sisters-in-law, Virginia Vallejo, Maria Vallejo  and by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Family would like to thank Amistad Home Health and Laredo Nursing and Rehab Center.

Visitation hours will be held on Saturday, November 30, 2019, from 8:00 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. with a rosary at 9:00 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

The funeral procession will depart at 10:30 a.m. for an 11:00 a.m. funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.
