ZAPATA, TEXAS---Hermelida S. Muñoz 68, passed away on Thursday, August 20, 2020 at Laredo Medical Center in Laredo, Texas.

Ms. Muñoz is preceded in death by her husband, Omar A. Muñoz; father, Amador Sanchez; brothers, Guadalupe Sanchez, Leonel Sanchez and a sister, Elva Nelia Sanchez.

Ms. Muñoz is survived by her daughters, Belia M. (Luis) Garcia, Clarissa M. (Serapio, IV) Garcia, Melissa J. Muñoz, (Adalberto, III) Perez; grandchildren, Arturo V. Guerra, Luis E. Garcia, Jr., Senaya M. Garcia, Adalberto Perez, IV, Miguel Omar Perez; mother, Marcelina Sanchez; brothers, Amador (Lupita) Sanchez, Francisco Sanchez, Roberto Sanchez, Hector (Telma) Sanchez and by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2020, at 8:00 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

The funeral procession will depart at 10:00 a.m. for a 10:30 a.m. graveside service at Panteon Del Pueblo in San Ygnacio, Texas.
