ZAPATA, TEXAS—Heriberto Flores 60, passed away on Thursday, September 5, 2024, at Laredo Medical Center in Laredo Texas.

Mr. Flores is preceded in death by father, Santos Flores; brothers, Ricardo Flores and Juan Angel Flores.

Mr. Flores is survived by his wife of 41 years Marivel G. Flores; son, Heriberto (Irma) Flores Jr.; daughter, Ashley A. Flores (Antonio Chavez); grandchildren, Lynelle Flores, Heriberto Flores III, Aurora R. Chavez, Adelie R. Chavez; mother, Irma O. Flores; brothers and sisters,, Santos (Veronica) Flores Jr., Rosa F. (Horacio) Saenz, Jorge H. (Dalia) Flores, Melissa Flores, Omar Flores and Tañia Flores and by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Visitation hours were held on Monday, September 9, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

On Tuesday, September 10, 2024, we opened at 8 a.m. the funeral procession departed at 9:30 a.m. for an 10:00 a.m. funeral mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Committal services followed at Zapata County Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Rose Garden Funeral Home Daniel A. Gonzalez, Funeral Director, 2102 N. US HWY 83 Zapata, Texas.
