ZAPATA, TEXAS—Hector "Chito" Guzman 64, passed away on Sunday September 29, 2024 at Laredo Medical Center in Laredo, Texas.

Mr. Guzman is preceded in death by his, parents; Macedonio and Maria Aurora G. Guzman; brothers, Juan Ramon Guzman, Rogelio Guzman, Calixto Guzman, Macedonio Guzman Jr. and Jose Emilio Guzman; sister, Adelina Garza.

Mr. Guzman is survived by his; sons, Victor Guzman, Juan Ramon Guzman; grandchild, Victor Jesus Guzman; brother, Roy Guzman; sisters Maria Aurora Guzman, Alice Guzman and Margarita Uvalle. And by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Visitation hours were held on Tuesday, October 1, 2024, we opened at 6:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

On Wednesday October 2, 2024, we opened at 8:00 a.m. The funeral procession departed at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. funeral mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church

Committal services followed at Zapata County Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Rose Garden Funeral Home Daniel A. Gonzalez, Funeral Director, 2102 N. US HWY 83 Zapata, Texas.
