ZAPATA, TEXAS--- Guadalupe "Lupe" Villarreal, 64, passed away on Sunday July 21, 2024 at his residence in Zapata, Texas.

Mr. Villarreal is preceded in death by his parents, Meliton Villarreal and Guadalupe Treviño; brothers, Salvador Villarreal Treviño, Reynaldo Villarreal Treviño, Arnoldo Villarreal Treviño.

Mr. Villarreal is survived by his wife, Maria Elisa Garza; sons, Jose Luis (Cristina) Rodriguez; daughters, Yolanda Villarreal Morin, Gladys Villarreal Morin, Eliza (Andy) Ramirez, Martha (Ricardo) Garza, Carolina (Armando) Esquivel; grandchildren, Andy Jr.,Damian, Aylin, Joey, Angel, Adrian, Armando, Giselle, Gael, Aziel, Miguel, and Katalina; brothers, Juan Villarreal Treviño; sisters, Teodora Villarreal de Treviño, Blanca Villarreal de Rodriguez, Rosa Villarreal de Garcia, and by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Visitation hours were held on Thursday July 25, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a wake at 7:00 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

On Friday July 26, 2024 we opened at 8:00 a.m. with a chapel service that was held at 10:00 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

Committal services followed at Zapata County Cemetery.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Rose Garden Funeral Home Daniel A. Gonzalez, Funeral Director, 2102 N. US HWY 83 Zapata, Texas.
