ZAPATA, TEXAS---Gloria P. Flores 83, passed away on Wednesday, July 20, 2022 at Doctor's Hospital in Laredo, Texas.

Mrs. Flores is preceded in death by her husband, Romeo T. Flores Jr.; parents, Loreto and Santitos Peña; brother, Leonel Peña; sisters, Sofia P. Garcia, Mary E. Peña; Socorro (Marcelo) Ramirez; Felipita Escobar and Raquel (Osvaldo) Vela.

Mrs. Flores is survived by her son, Romeo T. III (Connie) Flores; daughter, Annette Kiko) Molina; grandchildren, Romeo T. Flores IV; Adalberto J. Flores (Geana Jasso), Francisco Molina Jr.; (Briseida Carmona), Alyssa Molina, Rebecca Molina, Rene (Jessica) Guerra, III, Luis A. Lerma, Jr., Daniel Lerma; great-grandchildren Romeo T. Flores, V; Kassie Flores, Kristen A. Flores; brother, Margarito (Leticia) Peña; brother-in-law, Noel Escobar, sister-in-law, Angie Peña and by numerous nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Mrs. Flores was a teacher at ZCISD for 30 years.

Visitation hours will be held on Saturday July 23, 2022, from 8:00 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

The funeral procession will depart at 9:45 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.
