ZAPATA, TEXAS---Gloria G. Buentello 74, passed away on Friday, July 14, 2023 in McAllen, Texas.

Mrs. Buentello is preceded in death by her husband, Ramiro Buentello; grandson, Roberto Garza III and her parents, Pedro and Maria Guajardo.

Mrs. Buentello is survived by sons, Ramiro Jr. (Stephanie) Buentello, Ruben Ramiro (Eliliana) Buentello; daughters, Gloria Leticia Buentello, Graciela L. Buentello, Griselda Laura Buentello Alvarado; grandchildren, Christopher I. Buentello, Jacob A. Buentello, Ruben Jose Buentello, Yaretzy Buentello, Estefania Julliet Buentello, Gabe Luis Garza, Valerie D. (Daniel) Olvera, Nathan I. Alvarado, Gina R. Alvarado, Jorge Ahumada III, Angel I. Perez; great-grandchildren, Dawn Olvera, Nyol Olvera and by numerous other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Wednesday, July 19, 2023, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a vigil at 7:00 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

On Thursday, July 20, 2023 we will open at 8:00 a.m. and the funeral procession will depart at 9:30 a.m. for a 10:00 a.m. funeral Mass at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.
