ZAPATA, TEXAS— Gladys G. Herrera 61, passed away on Friday November 8, 2024, at Laredo Medical Center in Laredo, Texas.

Ms. Herrera is preceded in death by her parents: Cosme Solis and Minerva Hernandez, brother, Isaac Solis.

Ms. Herrera is survived by the father of her children Raul Herrera; sons, Raul Herrera Jr., Brandon Raul Herrera; daughter, Elizabeth Herrera; grandchildren, Dariana N. Herrera, Raul Herrera III, Kiveli Y. Garza; brothers, Enriques (†Mirtha) Solis, Luis (Diana) Solis, Fabian (Chayo) Solis, Julian (Tammy) Solis, ;sister, Cecilia Solis (Mario Garza) and by numerous other family members and friends.

In lieu of flowers, monetary donations can be made at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

Visitation hours will be held on Thursday, November 14, 2024, we will open at 8:30 a.m. with a catholic chapel service at 10:30 a.m., at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.
