ZAPATA, TEXAS---Gilberto Treviño 81, passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at Laredo Medical Center in Laredo, Texas.

Mr. Treviño is preceded in death by his daughter, Sandra Dee Vasquez;  grandchildren, Ana Laura Treviño, Aiden D. Fraga; brother, Alfredo Treviño; sisters, Amparo De La Cruz, Maria T. Garza, Consuelo Vasquez and Francis Rains.

Mr. Treviño is survived by his wife, Blanca Garcia; sons, Gilberto Jr. (Leah) Treviño, John G. (Laura) Treviño, Claudio H. (Amanda) Treviño;  daughters, Liza Treviño (Tim Gibson), Diana Diaz, Lile (Lance)  Fraga, Iris (Roberto) Guerra, Marina Garcia, Maria (Hugo) Pichardo, Rosa (Servando) Salinas; sister, Olivia Hernandez and by numerous grandchildren, nephews, nieces and other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Friday July 8, 2022, at 8:00 a.m. with a chapel service at 10:00 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.
