ZAPATA, TEXAS---Gerardo J. "Jerry" Salazar 41, passed away on Sunday, August 16, 2020.

Jerry is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Domingo Jr. and Josefa N. Reyes and by his maternal grandparents, Florencio and Matiana Jasso.

Jerry is survived by his parents, Alberto and Socorro J. Reyes; sister, Teresa (Rick) Castillo; brother, Heberto J. Jr. (Veronica) Salazar; nephews and nieces, Savannah (Michael) Sedillo, Rick Castillo, Jr., Joaquin Cisneros and Alejandro Cisneros and by numerous other family members and friends.

A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at 4 p.m. at Zapata County Cemetery.

The family will be having a private service for immediate family only due to COVID 19 pandemic.

Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Rose Garden Funeral Home Daniel A. Gonzalez, Funeral Director, 2102 N. US HWY 83 Zapata, Texas.
