ZAPATA, TEXAS- Gabriel Gonzalez Jr. 52, passed away on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, at Doctors Hospital in Laredo, Texas.

Mr. Gonzalez is preceded in death by his father, Gabriel Gonzalez.

Mr. Gonzalez is survived by his wife of 33 years, Isabel C. Gonzalez; sons, Gabriel III (Alondra) Gonzalez, Gilberto Gonzalez; daughter, Itzel A. Gonzalez; grandchildren, Yesica I. Gonzalez, Yanely I. Gonzalez, Gabriel Gonzalez IV; mother, Bertha I. Gonzalez; brother, Cesario (Esmeralda) Gonzalez; sister, Veronica (Felipe) Espinoza and by numerous other family members and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Sunday, March 22, 2026, at 6:00 p.m. with a Rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

On Monday, March 23, 2026, we will open at 8:00 a.m. with a chapel service at 10:00 a.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.
