SAN ANTONIO, TEXAS—Francisco Ramirez Jr. 74, passed away on Friday, November 15, 2024, in San Antonio, Texas.

Mr. Ramirez cherished returning to his hometown of Zapata to hunt. He has been a devoted Houston Astros fan since Colt 45 era and a devoted supporter of the San Antonio Spurs. Most importantly, he treasured moments with his wife while supporting their grandchildren as they played golf and soccer.

Mr. Ramirez is preceded in death by his parents Francisco and Maria A. Ramirez.

Mr. Ramirez is survived by his wife of 47 years; Alice Ann Ramirez; daughter, Noami Ramirez (Arthur Jr.) Campos; son, Dionicio (Jessica) Ramirez; grandchildren, Arthur Campos III, Jack Arthur Campos, Gabriella Faith Ramirez, Dionicio Ramirez Jr.; sisters, Nelda Ramirez, Nidia Ramirez, Maria Emilia (Roberto) Velzaquez and by numerous nieces, nephews, family and friends.

Visitation hours will be held on Friday, November 22, 2024, from 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. with a rosary at 7:00 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

On Saturday, November 23, 2024, we will open at 8 a.m. and depart at 9:30 a.m. for a mass at 10:00 am at Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Church in Zapata, Texas.

Committal services will follow at Zapata County Cemetery.
