ZAPATA, TEXAS---Francisco "Paco" Chapa 62, passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2018.

Mr. Chapa is preceded in death by his father, Francisco Chapa; and brother, Juan Gonzalo Chapa.

Mr. Chapa is survived by his wife, Maricela G. Chapa; daughters, Erika (Dagoberto, III) Guerrero, Marilu (Israel, Jr.) Chapa, Claudia Chapa (Hector Diaz), Alejandra (Juan A. Jr.) Valadez, Yoselin (Jorge) Fernandez; grandchildren, Larissa Guerrero (Josh Vasquez), Amy Chapa (Adrian Mondragon), Denisse Guerrero, Melissa Garza, Ayleen Guerrero, Juan A. Valadez,III, Leslie Chapa, Makayla Garza, Francisco Valadez, Monique Garza, Jorge A. Fernandez Jr. Xavier Valadez, Hector Diaz, Jr. Ricky Fernandez; great-grand child, Adrian Mondragon, Jr.; mother, Elvira G. Chapa; brothers, Jose G. (Leonor) Chapa, Sergio (Amalia) Chapa, Javier (Sandra) Chapa, Osiel (Maria Concepcion) Chapa, and by numerous nephews, nieces, other family members and friends.

Visitation hours were held on Monday, January 8, 2018, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Rose Garden Funeral Home.

Burial was held at Rancho Nuevo Agualeguas Nuevo Leon, Mexico.

Funeral arrangements were under the direction of Rose Garden Funeral Home Daniel A. Gonzalez, Funeral Director, 2102 N. US HWY 83 Zapata, Texas.
